Kind of a Disclaimer

Not everything in this blog is entirely true. I have, erm... embellished some entries to be more entertaining to me. I'm sorry if I offend or confuse anyone, but nothing in this blog is written with that purpose.

Oh, the Cleverness of Me!

Do you ever read something you wrote a while ago and think, "Damn, I am friggin' clever!"?
I'm floating on a self-admiration cloud right now. It's quite pleasant. I recommend everyone find something that they have done, made, written or whatever and admire it for the beauty and cleverness that it is or represents.

Could it have been the following?
Puddles splashed angrily against the car as Madelyn pressed down on the accelerator. Rain was pelting the windshield of her smart, black Mini and the wipers were barely able to wipe the window clear before the fat raindrops splattered all over them again. Madelyn didn't care, though. She knew Uxbridge Road only too well, and she pressed the pedal down even further, urging the needle on the odometer to push 80 mph, 90 mph.

We want more!

Admiring your handiwork is a great idea! Hm...I'm pretty proud of the Top Ramen I made the other day. I threw in carrots, peas, and peanuts. It was, if not haute cuisine, at least medium cuisine.

I am apparently very much to blame in the way of not reading the comments on my posts. Sorry!!

Mr. Good Word, what does the "Pr" stand for?

Mad for Madelyn, is that a pseudonym for the lovely and talented Ms Bradetta Doyle Vines? Because if so, I'm not writing any more Madelyn until I see your perfect and lovely face in person!!

Ms Petey, you never fail to crack me up! I'm sure the ramen was top notch!

Anonymous, are you my mommy? :)

I think that is probably the saddest thing I've ever read.
